About the JobAs the Head of Battery Sales, you will develop and execute the playbook to sell Anthro's prototypes and products. You will identify target customers and craft compelling narratives that communicate how Anthro's technology enables unprecedented levels of safety and performance for their applications. You will form and manage relationships for sales cycles that span from one year to five years. You will work alongside the technical team to deliver products to our first customers, making Anthro's technology a reality.What you will do

  • Identify target customers by analyzing their needs and pain points
  • Contact and develop relationships with target customers across a range of industries
  • Sell battery prototypes and pre-sell battery products by clearly communicating the value of Anthro's battery technologies
  • Develop business relationships with long-term strategic partners
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Analyze profitability and scalability of various sales and business opportunities
  • Conduct market analysis to expand Anthro's market reach
  • Prepare and present Anthro at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events
  • Engage in branding and marketing efforts to elevate Anthro's impact
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with customer requirements
  • Deliver on customer engagements
  • Work in-person, on-site at Anthro's lab in San Jose, and travel to customer sites as-needed
    • 5+ years experience in a technical sales function, proven experience selling hardware or experimental technology
    • Deep knowledge of battery technology preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to grasp and communicate technical topics and products
    • Strong relational skills with a track record of building and leveraging relationships to push an organization forward
    • Proficiency in contract negotiations
    • An eye for design and excellent communication skills
    • Ideal candidate will have familiarity with one or more of the following industries: Defense, e-mobility, consumer electronics
