We are looking for Sales Manager, New Logo-Transportation Management/Transit Software to join our team!
Who we are:
Enghouse Transportation & Public Safety is currently looking for a Sales Manager, New Logo to sell our enterprise software within the US, focusing primarily in California. You will be responsible to drive the expansion and growth of the Enghouse Transportation market, with a focus on selling our automated fare collection solution and associated hardware. You should have existing strong relationships with municipal and state transportation agencies. Enghouse Telexis is on the preferred vendor list in the State of California.
Your role:
You will be responsible to participate and contribute with innovative thought leadership and compelling solutions to prospects, creating demand for Enghouse products and services. This will include educating potential clients on industry trends and best practices. You will lead the development and execution of winning sales strategies to close new deals and increase revenues.
What you will be doing:


  • Promote the company's services and solutions to drive growth with new clients through external relationships and networks with public and private transit agencies;
  • Manage complex sales; including navigating transit authority/government organizations and multiple selling strategies and have experience managing RPF processes;
  • Have visibility on the relevant RFPs and tenders published in California and other US States
  • Actively follow and monitor the various sources (websites) in which RFPs and tenders are published and selecting and prioritizing the relevant ones
  • Managing the bid team to prepare bids for the RFPs and Tenders (comply with the juridical and contractual pre-requisites and meet the functional and non-functional requirements)
  • Own the development of an executable strategy for specific pipeline development that supports the assigned sales goals;
  • Anticipate Customers' requirements and possible challenges - make our customers successful;
  • Engage in all phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring; contract negotiation and closing;
  • Ensure all targeted prospect/client contacts and engagement opportunities are recorded in Salesforce.com (SFDC);

    What you bring:

    • Accomplished high-energy salesperson with 5+ years of enterprise level sales. Sales experience must be in transportation, transit or public safety industry with experience selling Intelligent Transport Systems & Software
    • Consistently exceed revenue and quota targets
    • Proven prospecting skills that deliver new business. This includes having existing relationships with public or private transit authorities in the State of California
    • Comfortable with successfully managing a multi-million dollar quota
    • Hunter: effective prospecting skills that enable you to identify, penetrate and close on new logo business
    • Proven familiarity with MEDDIC strategy preferred
