Job Description:
Honeywell Intelligrated is seeking a Project Manager who can
lead projects in warehouse automation industry. The role is based
remote. You will own full project management through a project's
life-cycle including planning, developing, testing, producing and
deployment. You will lead execution of all assigned projects while
maintaining exceptional and consistent performance within budget
and requirements. You will provide direct, effective communication
to business leadership on assigned programs. Drive revenue,
increase productivity, improve project delivery and customer NPI
score. You will be in a visible position and will require direct
interaction with peers and leaders across all cross functional
groups. Your projects will vary depending on the organization being
supported and therefore requires a vast knowledge across various
business practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting major systems by guiding
cross-functional teams and projects.
- Execute and coordinate multi-million-dollar projects within the
warehouse, ecommerce, logistics and distribution and postal and
parcel industries.
- Coordinate project team consisting of functional project
engineers and commissioning engineers.
- Effectively supply project planning, fiscal responsibility and
communication between customers and building general
contracts.
- Execute contracts as sold, facilitate project changes and
clarify and mitigate contract issues. Ensure up to date and
accurate financial picture of the project.
- Update the percentage of completion on the project schedule
with milestones for all disciplines and customer constraints.
- Ensure smooth and consistent communication and exchanges of
data between customers, project team members, vendors and/or sales
team.
- Coordinate various resources responsible for mechanical and
electrical installation personnel and engineering teams responsible
for commissioning and testing the material handling system.
- Create and maintain project records and archive proper files
for retention.
- Ensure quality material handling systems are ready, on time and
within budget.
- Prepare and coordinate concise and thorough commissioning plan
and acceptance test.
- Ensure safety standards are met or exceeded throughout the life
cycle of the projectThe annual base salary
range for this position in California and New York (excluding most
major
metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $127K
-
$160K.-- For Washington and most major
metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary
range
is $127K - $160K. Please note that this salary information serves
as a
general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when
extending an offer,
including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the
position,
the candidate's work experience, education and training, key
skills, as well as
market and business considerations.--You Must Have:
- 5+ years' of material handling, or relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 40%We Value:
- Supply chain management or distribution systems experience
- Material Handling industry experience
- Expertise with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access and
SharePoint.
- Knowledge of IT and financial systems preferred (Sales Force,
SAP, etc.).
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in
cross-functional collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
- Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage
priorities
- Improving performance, meeting commitments, and getting
result
- Exceeding internal and external customer expectation
- Master's degree and Project Management certification (PMP)
preferred
