Job Title: BAS Estimator "HVAC Controls"Job SummaryResponsible for cost estimating in the BAS Business Unit which includes, construction, retrofits, and owner direct proposals within Industrial and commercial industries.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cost estimating of control systems for commercial, industrial HVAC systems
• Design/build budgeting
• Knowledge of HVAC Controls; preferably Automated Logic Controls
• Construction Industry knowledge
• Technical resource for internal and external customers
• Management of personal workload to meet deadlines
• Communication of workload and encumbrances to construction sales department
• Attend BAS project meetings as required
• Escalate issues on projects in a timely manner
• Coordination with other contractors and subcontractors, as needed
• Preparation of documents for subcontractor pricing, as neededQualifications
  • 5+ years' experience developing Proposals and estimating within Building Automation Systems.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or equivalent experience within the field of engineering will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • In-depth understanding and "hands on" experience with any or all of the following systems - HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning and/or chillers
