SCHEDULE: 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) SHIFT: Mixed with rotating weekends. POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, and according to general policies and procedures, the Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, they may be responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School or Equivalent Required LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:National Certification required (CPhT) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of at least 1 year of hospital experience. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:Demonstrates some relevant theoretical knowledgeApplies known solutions to a variety of predictable problems Applies and performs processes that require a range of well developed skills where some discretion and judgment is requiredInterprets available information using discretion and judgment Takes responsibility for own outputs in work and learning Takes responsibility for the outputs of others
