We want you to apply!Job Summary and QualificationsProvides technical support and skills of the daily Pharmacy operations. Assists pharmacists who coordinate the operational and clinical aspects of the Pharmacy. Participates in pharmacy service projects that improves patient care.LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Pharmacy Technician registered by the California State Board of Pharmacy.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Drug formulary and nomenclature, drugs selection based upon age-specific criteria.
    • Federal and State laws and regulations on drugs and pharmacy practice.
    • Interdisciplinary care and Pharmacy specific policies and procedures.
    • HCA Code of Ethics and Compliance
    • Technical skills to prepare and to dispense medications
    • Communication and computer operational skills.
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills to support drug procurement, storage and inventory activities.Clerical, typing and instructional skillsThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center.
