the marketplace analytics team, you will be responsible for
providing deep analytical insights into the advertising marketplace
and drive cross-team issue resolution as it relates to demand,
supply, product releases and revenue anomalies.In this position,
you will:Proactively identify revenue impacting issues, and
investigate root causes, and drive them to resolution across
product and engineering teams.Be hands-on with monitoring tools,
work with large data sets, and provide insights into marketplace
performance, be it supply or demand. This includes writing queries
to access data, performing analysis, utilizing your technical
expertise as well as a variety of internal tools and/or
collaborating with other teams as needed.Gather and interpret data;
generate, track and monitor business KPIs and conduct regular
readouts to stakeholders including leadershipEffectively
communicate insights and make recommendations and decisions in line
with business objectivesProject manage the end to end process to
triage and resolve revenue anomalies; this includes leading
investigation efforts to identify root causes which may include
changes in demand, supply, product releases and/or system related
issuesBe the subject matter expert of the ads marketplace and
participate in knowledge creation and sharing across the teamBecome
an expert at using a variety of internal data systems and assist
with automating and scripting repetitive tasks where neededMinimum
Qualifications7+ years of professional experienceBS/MS in
highly-quantitative field (Analytics, Computer Science,
Mathematics, EE) is preferredB2B or advertising experience is
highly desirableAnswer complex business questions via SQL queries
to enable business and product owners to make critical
decisions.Hands on experience with Big data technologies like Spark
or Hive and understanding of HDFSExperience with scripting
programming languages such as Python/RFamiliarity with Unix/Linux
environment and experience with Shell scriptingExperience with
Tableau and/or LookerDemonstrated use of analytics, metrics, and
benchmarking to drive decisionsTeam player in driving growth
results combined with a positive attitudeProblem solver who never
