Must be able to work on a W2 MUST HAVES:--- 4+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering --- Previous experience architecting pipelines from scratch --- Previous experience having worked on a large-scale CICD migration- need to have extensive Gitlab and Jenkins--- In-depth experience AWS and it's various products (EC2, ECS, ALB, NLB, S3, EBS, ECR, etc)--- Ability to write Infrastructure as code- Terraform PLUSSES:--- Experience with architecting a CICD platform for a major corporation--- Microsoft Azure or GCP Experience--- Tools and middleware including Chef, Tomcat, Java, Node.js Day To Day:A client of Insight Global is looking for a DevOps Architect to join their team. They will work within the Reference Architecture team responsible for planning, implementation, and end-to-end technical support of organization-wide shared tools. The primary responsibility of this role will be to engineer solutions as part of a new DevOps platform and assist with the migration off of the current CICD system. The intent is for a centralized platform with a flexible design to accommodate both end-users that are highly interested in DevOps and Build Engineering as well as those that are simply software engineers at heart. Effort will be focused on parallelization and how to improve security and quality of the artifacts that the platform produces while minimizing build times. All work is performed utilizing Infrastructure as Code, so competence in various languages will be needed.
