Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security
Architect in San Jose, CA. Overview: We are looking for an
individual to join our clients Collaboration security & privacy
architecture team. Our team works alongside with the Collaboration
product teams to improve their security and privacy posture. This
role will be responsible for interacting with internal Security and
Privacy program members, Development, Legal, Compliance and Data
Protection teams to reduce data risks. You will be surrounded by a
great team and supported by amazing leadership. This individual
role will work cross functionally to define, influence, and
implement solutions including the following:
- Security Architect will work to align Collaboration BU product
features with Security and Privacy by Design principles and ensure
that the data use meets customer expectations and established
regulatory compliance needs
- Responsible for assisting with the management of data privacy,
data protection, data usability, performance and the integrity of
security and privacy solutions
- Influence the software development lifecycle to ensure security
and privacy remains foundational
- Perform security risk and privacy impact assessments of new
features and services and provide feedback to Engineering teams to
bridge gaps
- Manage documentation of -how to- processes and procedures that
can be implemented by the Collab Program Management team Job
Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Information Systems, Security and/or Privacy Engineering or related
field of study
- 3+ years of experience in security/privacy/data protection or a
graduate degree or concentration in security and/or privacy
engineering
- Jira expertise
- Passionate about security and privacy and excited about
technical challenges
- Understanding of Risk management process
- Experience with concepts and practices such as threat modeling,
data anonymization, categorization, and classification
- Experience or understanding of software application design
tools and languages
- Understanding of testing, coding, and agile development
- Understanding of Cloud workloads and hosted services in AWS,
GCP or Azure
- Ability to analyze and perform operations on large
datasets
- Linux skills
- Secure coding and knowledge of application scanning tools and
techniques
- Host Vulnerability management tool and know-how
- Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10
- TLS and PKI knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work with a wide variety of teams
and build open respectful relationships
- Knowledge of public clouds (either AWS, GCP or Azure) is a
plus
- Coding or scripting skills (Ideally java and python) is a plus
