Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Business Development Executive (BDE) - Architect, you will:

  • Serve as the Go-To-Market (GTM) point of contact within the assigned industry to help grow the hybrid cloud transformation (HCT) business
  • Help in analyzing client's business, goals, industry trends and participate in early customer conversations to help identify & develop the right cloud opportunities
  • Lead the opportunity pursuit strategy, technology approach and work with different teams to drive the cloud opportunities to closure
  • Proactively execute cloud growth initiatives in accounts by closely working with multi-cloud sales & delivery executives, e.g., GTM campaigns, technology workshops, etc., to help build and maintain the pipeline
  • Effectively manage multiple client relationships/opportunities simultaneously and exhibit thought leadership in conversations to develop long-term client relationships
  • Architect and design technical solutions based on industry standards using the big cloud providers (AWS, Azure, IBM cloud, RedHat/OpenShift, GCP or Private Cloud) using IaaS (compute, storage, network), PaaS,(automation, apps and data) and various SaaS capabilitiesTo be successful in this role, candidates must have:

    Consulting experience:
    • Consulting experience for multi-cloud environments and prior experience in delivering Proof of Concepts for new solutions on Cloud or migrations to cloud
    • Flexible to work either independently or with team
    • Good written/Oral Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.Strong interpersonal skills:
      • Confidently navigate in a complex interdependent environments, able to disambiguate client requests, and convert business requirements into tech specifications.
      • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational/project goals.
        Success is measured by the following business metrics:
        • Meet quarterly signing/booking targets of cloud deals
        • Rolling 4-quarter pipeline for cloud services pipeline

          Required Technical and Professional Expertise
          • 5+ years of proven experience in building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems - infrastructure, application, security, cloud controls, etc. Previous experience working in a multi-cloud environment ((AWS, Azure, IBM cloud, RedHat/OpenShift, GCP or Private Cloud)
          • Skilled in developing multi-cloud architectural blueprints, roadmap, strategy documents, etc. against digital transformation requirements and "move to cloud"
          • Strong cloud experience using cloud specific services like Compute Engine, App Engine, AKS/EKS/GKE, Stack Driver, and platforms like Anthos/OpenShift, etc
          • 2+ years of solid knowledge of Server-less architecture(s), Cloud Functions, Security controls, Cloud IAM, APIs and micro-services architecture
          • 2+ years of experience in architecting and designing solutions leveraging modern cloud services like Pub/Sub (Streaming, Kafka), DataFlow (e.g., Apache Beam), Machine Learning and data stores (e.g., Data Store, BigTable, BigQuery, Google Airflow, etc.)
          • 5+ years of experience in solution "Move to cloud" and/or migration experience on workloads such as SAP, Mainframe, IoT, Data factories is preferred
          • Experience in implementation of DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD, advance automation, etc. is preferred
          • Solid background in understanding cloud controls, cloud security, policies & cloud compliance monitoring -e.g., cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls (WAF/WAAP), etc.
            Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
            • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or comparable relevant experience
            • 5+ years cloud experience and 10+ years in professional IT experience is preferred.
