health issues.The Business Process Lead handles all aspects of
sustaining and improving business processes for the BD Biosciences
Businesses and within the Organization, where applicable, in one or
more of the following areas:
Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) - Demand & Supply Chain Planning,
Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management,
Sales - Quote and Contract Management, Order Management,
Procure to Pay - Requisitioning, Purchasing, Receiving, Accounts
Service Management - Repairs, Service Contract Management,
Research & Development - Product Lifecycle Management,
Operationalization of New Products.Daily OperationsPartner with the
business to contribute low to medium complex cross-functional
business process initiatives for the assigned area(s) using defined
project planning, Lean Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies. Liaise
with other business units and/or regions when developing and/or
changing policies, programs or processes as necessary; as well as
corporate Process and Global Services organizations when
applicable.Works with the business to define, establish, and
monitor/improve process health and associated metrics based on
Business & Process criteria.Proactively engage with Process
Integrators within BD Biosciences and the Organization to ensure
alignment and best practices are shared (application of business
process, master data, training needs, roles and responsibilities,
and system use).Drive the development of the organizational
capabilities related to end-to-end or functional process through
the management of the Process Network.Drive Improvement strategies
and Operational capabilities for Logistic function through Process
Improvements & Technology using automation tools related to
Logistics to improve process and work productivity.Provide guidance
and training to Logistics associates partnering Process, ERP and
other IT system to improve associates skill-set to deliver
outstanding service and results to internal and external
customers.SAP Super User & Technical Lead - act as a consultant to
run and assist NA BDB sites on SAP issues. Partner with BD TGS on
SAP related functional activities & Implementation projects.NA BDB
Transportation Master Data Owner/Lead- responsibilities includes
Review, Validate, Create, Maintain - new/existing transportation
master data in SAP ECC & APO(Tlane).Complete Inventory analysis,
identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and problems.
- Process Management knowledge and experience.
- Demonstrated end-to-end business process thinking; knowledge of
present or "as is" processes and ability to lead improvements that
will constitute a desired "future state"
- Customer centric focus and global orientation.
- Experience working within a complex virtual team environment
and leading project activities.
- Experience in functional areas (e.g., Quality, Procurement,
Supply Chain, etc.
- Experience in projects accountable for leading change).Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to influence outcomes and gain team member and stakeholder's on
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and
- Intermediate to advanced experience with SAP.
- Advanced MS Office Suite, including Visio, PowerPoint,
- Demonstrated understanding of Lean Six Sigma process
improvement methodology and advanced tools (Data Analysis Package
- Knowledge of Project Management principles and
- Knowledge of Business Analysis.
- BI super user/power user experience a plus.
- B.A. or B.S. degree required, in related field
- Trained or certified in at least 1 of the key skills (BI,
Lean/Six Sigma, PM, Business Analysis)
- Experience 5-8 years.For many roles at BD, employment is
