Job Description SummaryResponsible for the manufacture and
sustaining of products in one or more of the following areas:
Immunochemistry, Presto, Bead Team, BPE New Products or BPE
Sustaining while adhering to GMP and GDP practices and BD Quality
imperatives. Execute lab responsibilities within a team framework.
Support BD Company and Departmental initiatives. Utilize knowledge
and experience to troubleshoot, identify process improvements, and
provide guidance to teammates.
Provide technical and operation leadership to manufacturing teams.
Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes to identify
efficiencies and troubleshoot issues. Assist leadership in
attaining Department goals and meeting production needs.Job

production needs.Job DescriptionWork independently to manufacture
product following GMP and GDP practices. Provide technical
assistance and guidance to team members. Lead troubleshooting
efforts and coordination with BPE.Participate directly on
cross-functional teams/projects: Single Cell Multiomics, New
Product Teams, Continuous Improvement, Product Transfer, Product
Sustaining, Product Development, CAPA activities, Validation
studies, etc. Ownership of projects, including but not limited to:
validations, project transfers, CAPA and Quality activities, and CI
projects Execute processes of higher complexity/difficulty that
require technical skill and experience, provide training to
associates.Cross train in other areas of Reagent Operations to
provide manufacturing flexibility. Have basic understanding of
manufacturing flow in other groups to coordinate direction of
capacity. Leverage relevant experience to implement process
improvements, ensure alignment with Quality imperatives, and
support Continuous Improvement initiatives.Support team leadership
in implementation of Company initiatives. Promotes a safe work
environment. Participates in Environmental Health and Safety
programs. Notifies Supervisor of all observed hazardous conditions
or unsafe work practices. Performs other related duties and
assignments as required.Qualifications:
- Able to assume high level of responsibility in team
environment. Coordinate activities of team members.
- Able to integrate new processes/products into manufacturing
while incorporating GMP and GDP practices.
- Fully trained more complex processes such as Protein G
purifications, complex conjugations, Custom QC flow testing,
Microsphere dyeing and conjugations etc.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical, technical, organizational, and problem-solving
- Experience in manufacturing team setting. Effective team work
- Has some knowledge of Molecular Biology/Genomics.
- Able to direct team efforts in coordination with team
- Able to assume increased responsibility outside of regular
- Working Knowledge of Word Excel, Power point, Visio.Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a life science.
- Prefer 4+ years related manufacturing experience.For many roles
