Description:Company is looking for talented Forecasting Analyst who will be working with one of the leading technology providers in the US. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and knowhow to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team.
What you'll do:

• You will work on the team that centrally analyzes cloud provider (AWS and Azure) consumption trends and purchases long term contracts (i.e., Amazon Web Services EC2 Reserved Instances) to reduce costs Support product teams, Finance and other stakeholders with analytical needs regarding public cloud provider cost and usage
• Meet regularly with technical teams to understand their growth and usage trends
• Building and maintaining detailed models from large data sets
• Develop and document processes that ensure consistency and continual improvement
• Create reports that are actionable and provide insight
• Help others build reports
• Data mining and exploratory analysis to surface hidden insights
• Ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
  What you need to succeed:
  • Proven ability to create cost and/or usage models
  • Proven intermediate-to-advanced skills with Microsoft Excel including, but not limited to, mastery of pivot tables
  • Strong character, work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team player and being able to recognize success as a team
  • Self-starter, motivated, outgoing and able to work productively with others
  • Knowledge of cloud providers is preferred
  • Proficiency with Tableau, PowerBI and/or other reporting tools is preferred
  • Ability to query databases using SQL is preferred
  • Program management skills a plus
