and aGet with the Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Performance
Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American
Stroke Association. It is acounty-designated STEMI (heart attack)
Receiving Center, designated Lung Cancer Screening Center, a member
of Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ECMO) and is certified
by The Joint Commission in Sepsis care.

SCHEDULE: 1.0 (40 hours per week), SHIFT: Monday - Friday,
POSITION SUMMARY: (includes, but is not limited to):
--- Provides professional leadership and specialized care to the
Robotic patient population. The goal is to optimize patient
--- Assists with assessing, planning, directing, implementing,
coordinating, and evaluating the effectiveness of day-to-day
operations in accordance with facility policies, philosophy
objectives and standards.
--- Establish and monitor standards of nursing care by working with
staff, managers, committees, and task forces.
--- Identifies problem areas and recommends solutions.
--- Initiates, implements, and evaluates policies and procedures
related to patient care.
--- Provides comprehensive education in compliance with Standards
of Care and Standards of Practice and coordinates the development,
revision, and implementation of patient education programs,
materials, and resources in area.
--- Evaluates quality of nursing care by making rounds,
participating in studies and research, conducting interviews,
collecting, analyzing, and trending quality indicator data, and
direct observation of nursing care.
--- Identifies problem areas, provides staff coaching, and makes
recommendations for other solutions. Assists with skills labs.
--- Studies change in and seeks additional knowledge on unusual
problems and conditions, new treatments, and medications.
--- Demonstrates quality nursing care, problem-solving skills,
effective uses of resources, collaboration with other health care
professionals, and professional standards.
--- Plans and implements interdepartmental and interagency
cooperation to provide for continuity of patient care.
Minimum: Current CA Registered Nurse License or Current CA
Physician Assistant Certification, American Heart Association Basic
Life Support (BLS)
Minimum: Operating Room experience (3 yrs. +), MIS experience
Preferred: Robotic Surgery experience
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree or BSN
Preferred: Master's Degree or MSN
Minimum: Knowledge of surgical terminology, equipment, materials,
and policies/procedures (sterile protocol/OR attire), and the
fundamental methods relating to surgery, Demonstrates basic
knowledge of data collection, research protocols, Excel etc. ,
Knowledge of surgical procedures: Urology, Gynecology,
Cardiac/Thoracic Surgery, General Surgery. Demonstrated leadership
ability and collaborative skills
Skills in physical assessment, lab data interpretation,
technological skills and nursing theory and practice are required.
Teaching experience in patient/family and staff education
Preferred: Marketing skills
