Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research,
architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge
products and services. You'll be developing complex system
architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them
from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design,
simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional
engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new
products and processes through the product lifecycle.
The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides
affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated
ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST
team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense,
Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international
customers with years of experience in platform operations,
engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air,

Our Los Gatos, CA office is currently developing a number of new
products, and we need professionals who want to work within a small
and dynamic engineering team. Our digital receiver systems allow
users to rapidly understand the signal environment. Systems are
used for monitoring the RF spectrum, analyzing signals, and
direction finding.Ideal candidates have a passion for processing
high-rate signal data, and enjoy working across the engineering
spectrum by selecting and using tools, operating systems,
architectures, and test methods.
Must-haves:
Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related
discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development
teams
Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements
parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems
integration, technical risk identification and management
strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V)
principles
Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators,
spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
Ability to generate and execute test procedures and document
results
An active U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or above), or eligibility
to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required
Preferred:
Learn about and become a subject matter expert on Electronics
Intelligence (ELINT) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) systems
and the missions they support
Experience with airborne RF signal collection and processing
systems
Working knowledge of networking and Linux systems
Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools,
such as DOORS, MATLAB, Python, Model Based System Engineering
(MBSE)
Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Exposure to baseline definition and maturation in a complex
development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies
and other measures
Understanding of establishing and tracking key Technical
Performance Measurements (TPM)
Driven, self-motivated, work in a team environment
An active U.S Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $107,728.29 - $148,126.40
