Location: San Jose, California
Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000

THE PURCHASING TEAM
Cupertino Electric's Purchasing Team manages all equipment and materials purchases for both job sites and corporate expenditures. This includes vetting vendors and establishing and maintaining relationships with new and loyal suppliers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Support Center Purchasing Coordinator will assist with tool and material quoting, ordering, and order tracking through selected vendors. Also, coordinate timely deliveries of ordered tools and equipment with various CEI Support Centers along with various field and office personnel to expedite material orders, deliveries, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
This position will partner with Support Center leaders to develop standard procedures and drive process improvement. This role will work closely with the tool team and asset manager to maintain adequate inventory levels based on field requirements. Additionally, you will partner with tool team to identify best vendor for majority of tool orders based on cost, lead time, and location.
ABOUT YOU
You bring over three years of experience preferably in construction and equipment procurement. You have experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. In addition to your technical skills, you have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. In this role, attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to prioritize and work in a deadline-sensitive and customer service-oriented environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Degree preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certifications: None required.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in related field.
