    We are looking to hire a Planner/Scheduler in San Jose! This position is a full time role that includes medical, dental and vision benefits. Our client is looking for someone with 1-2 years of experience in this field. This individual must understand the importance of production scheduling, planning and buying products to be shipped on time while maintaning inventory levels at optimal levels.
    salary: $60,000 - $73,000 per year
    shift: First
    work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
    education: No Degree Required
    Responsibilities
    Responsible for planning and purchasing Raw material to finished goods from outside vendors. Coordinates all activities related to procurement of materials from forecast to delivery. Plans, purchase, schedules products to support on-time shipments and customer commitments while maintaining inventory levels at optimal levels. Monitors and manages supplier relationships and conducts on-going supplier analysis.
    Experience, Skills & Abilities:

    • 
      Prior experience in MRP, purchasing, expediting, or other materials management discipline is required. APICS certification preferred. Knowledge of Epicor a plus.

      Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.

      Must be professional and courteous and have proficient written, oral, and organizational skills. Must be able to work fairly independently, receiving a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance
