Lokahi Acupuncture is seeking an experienced, passionate Acupuncturist with a pain focus to join our team in San Jose, CA, US. This position offers wonderful perks such as a competitive wage of approximately $40-$70 hourly (depending on how full your schedule is. Obviously it starts on the lower end and increases as your schedule becomes established), PTO, 401 (k), and the possibility for career advancement.

As a Pain Specialist, you will use East Asian Medicine to treat pain and a variety of illnesses to help patients find relief from their physical and emotional ailments.

Must be available to work all of the following: Monday 9 am-1 pm, Wed 1:30-6 pm, Friday 2-6 pm, and Saturday 9 am-3 pm. This is a starting schedule of 32 patient slots/week, with the shifts we need filled now. There will be room to expand both hours and days as you become more established.

Note: This is not a salaried position. Compensation depends on whether the provider is Part-time or Full-time.

Please note: we are hiring for this position to start September 2023.

Responsibilities:
--- Acupuncturist with a focus on pain
--- Work collaboratively with other team members
--- Attend staff meetings
--- Generate accurate patient notes
--- Create and implement treatment plans
--- Consult with potential new patients
--- Must be available to work: Monday 9 am-1 pm, Wed 1:30-6 pm, Friday 2-6 pm, and Saturday 9 am-3 pm. This represents a base schedule of 32 patient slots/week. There is potentially room to expand, but this is our minimum requirement for this position. The days/hours are non-negotiable at this time. We revisit the schedule every 6 months.

Qualifications:
--- Licensed in California
--- Excellence and experience working with pain
--- Excellent verbal skills and bedside manner
--- Ability to work well in a team environment
