their financial lives.Job Description Summary:We are seeking a
talented and driven Business Operations Lead to join PayPal's
nascent Strategic Generative AI Unit ("SGAU"). The SGAU's charter
is to orchestrate and facilitate the adoption of Generative AI
techniques and algorithms across enterprise business use cases by
providing technical consulting as well as conducting applied
R&D to explore building in-house Generative AI capabilities.
The Business Operations Lead will be responsible for managing
various projects related to Generative AI initiatives, spearheading
internal SGAU coordination to ensure deadlines are met and best
practices are disseminated, and coordination across PayPal business
units to understand Generative AI-related needs and strategy. You
will work closely with the rest of the SGAU and all of PayPal's
business units to create productivity-enhancing solutions across
our organization.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee various Generative AI initiatives to ensure
successful implementation, including project management, risk
assessment, and mitigation planning
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure coordination
and alignment with the organization's overall goals and
objectives
- Work with the Generative AI team to develop and implement
strategies to raise awareness of Generative AI across the
organization, including training, communication, and outreach
activities
- Represent the Generative AI Unit in internal meetings with
senior stakeholders, including the senior leadership team and
business unit heads, to provide updates on progress and ensure
alignment with the organization's overall strategy.
- Serve as member and key advisor to the SGAU leadership team,
providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on various
strategic and operational mattersRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering,
computer science, mathematics, or related fields
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management,
strategic planning, or related fields
- Proven experience in managing complex projects and delivering
results on time and within budget
- Strong interest and knowledge in Generative AI technologies,
applications, and trends
- Experience in a leadership or management role, with the ability
to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership
skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with
cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly
changing environmentPreferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business administration, engineering,
computer science, mathematics, or related fields
- At least 8-10 years of experience in project management,
strategic planning, or related fields
- Proven experience working with implementation of Generative AI
technologies and applications.
- Proven experience working within a fintech, technology company,
