Role
The US Public Sector Business Solutions Architect will drive
structuring the US PS Theatre in terms of its governance structure,
business processes, and business information. This person will
report into US PS Market Transformation and Operations within the
US Public Sector Sales Organization. This person will architect
business solutions that aligns strategic goals and objectives with
decisions regarding products and services, contracts and products,
organization and capabilities and key business, sales and IT
initiatives. The primary focus is the business motivations,
business operations and business analysis frameworks and related
networks that link these aspects of the enterprise together. The
Business Architect will work to develop an integrated view of the
US Public sector process, systems, org and data landscape using a
repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry
standard techniques.
Who You Are
You are an exceptional technical leader ideally with in-depth
knowledge of Contracts Life Cycle Mgmt., Sales Operations, Order
Mgmt. processes and systems. You possess strong understanding of
innovative technology solutions and approaches to enable complex
business processes. You lead with agility to deliver with
speed.
Responsibilities
--- Develop a business architecture strategy based on a situational
awareness of various business scenarios changing market and
regulatory requirements.
--- Apply a structured business architecture approach and
methodology for capturing the key views of the enterprise.
--- Capture the tactical and strategic enterprise goals that
provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to
metrics that provide ongoing governance.
--- Describe the primary business functions of the enterprise
--- Define the set of strategic, core and support processes that
transcend functional and organizational boundaries; identify and
describe external entities such as customers, suppliers, and
external systems that interact with the business; and describe
which people, resources and controls are involved in the
processes.
--- Define the data shared across the enterprise and the
relationships between those data.
--- Capture the relationships among roles, capabilities and
business units, and sub-units, and the internal or external
management of those units.
--- Develop data supported recommendations to develop, operate and
manage a business architecture meeting the requirements

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects
the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S.
locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles
the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also
eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales
positions include base and incentive compensation target.
Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and
additional factors, including but not limited to skillset,
experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on
their U.S. hiring location. The recruiter can share more details

process.
U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on
top of their base salary, which is split between quota and
non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at
the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue
attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds
100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five
times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For
non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales
objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans
do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive
compensation to be paid.
