As part of Cisco's Emerging Technologies & Incubation Marketing team, you will help lead Cisco in its pursuit of innovative new ideas , products, and research. You will drive content strategy for ET&I, ensuring that creativity, consistency, and clarity thrives across our portfolio . You'll own the development and growth our ET&I messaging in-market as well as build a compelling strategy of channels, ideas, and formats to deliver attention-worthy thought leadership to our audiences :

  • Own all aspects of content strategy for ET&I , including topics, channels (website, blog, social, etc.) , guidelines, and standards both internally and externally , working with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and compliance
  • Build, strengthen, and amplify ET&I's messaging platforms with all audiences including our target personas, customers, em ployees, partners and communities
  • Work cross-functionally with ET&I's various content creators and teams to set up a collaborative and collective approach to creating and publishing content
  • Establi sh new and creative ways for ET&I to share content and ideas across a myriad of media types, from WSJ-inspired editorial collections to micro- segments on TikTok
  • Apply a data-drive n approach to tracking and measuring content performance across owned (SEO), earned, and paid channels , reporting ROI on business performance goals to leadership Who You'll Work With You'll work with ou r ET&I leadership, product marketing teams, content and social marketers, PR & AR teams , brand and product-led growth teams to help develop a nd maintain a cohesive content stra tegy . You'll also work across Cisco brand, content, communications, and marketing teams where relevant to ensure ET&I has an engaging and consistent message . Who You Are You are an experienced content leader who has developed compelling and successful content marketing programs for an organization, from establishing editorial standards a nd programs to successfully growing multimedia content experiences in-market . You have experience in SaaS, cloud-native software, or even cloud-native security; this might be for developer audiences and/or CxO audiences alike. You build strong cross-functional relationships to establish and articulate the organization's messaging platforms and ensure all business efforts consistently reflect that messaging . You ponder the finer arts of SEO (especially in an AI-search world) , embrace data and are skilled at demonstrating measurable impact of content investment to executive leadership . You have people management experience and e njoy building engaged, connected teams, remote and distributed . You are creative, and always look for ways to bring the unexpected, delightful, never- been-seen-before angle to both large and small content experiences for customers . Our Minimum Requirements for this role:
    • Bachelor's Degree required (diverse subject matter welcome) with 8+ years' of related experience or Master's Degree or MBA with 6+ years' of related experience Why Cisco? #WeAreCisco.       When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. The recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
