Guidewire InsuranceNow Senior Implementation Engineer (Developer)

Location - Remote, must be US based

Job Description:

As an Eagle Creek Atos Software Consultant, you will work in a team environment for the successful development and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceNow application for our customers. You will work from project initiation to full customer product roll out. In this capacity, you will be experienced with the InsuranceNow application, both functionally and technically, and must be able to customize, configure and test the InsuranceNow application.

Additionally, you will provide technical support and effort estimates related to Guidewire InsuranceNow configuration development assignments. While working with other team members, you will propose solutions to improve business unit productivity and/or business results.

Required Skills

General / Technical Required Skills

* 5+ years design / configuration / customization of InsuranceNow Application
* 5+ years working in Agile framework environment
* 5+ years Jira or similar tool
* Strong understanding of general and InsuranceNow development best practices
* InsuranceNow Deployment
* 4+ years Full stack java experience
* Java / J2EE
* Velocity
* RDBMS (MS SQL, MySQL)
* HTML / CSS
* JavaScript
* CVS / Git
* Eclipse


* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Develop and maintain, a deep knowledge of InsuranceNow and relevant diagnostic tools
* Work with Business Analyst to understand each customer's business objectives and integration requirements, and rationalize those against established best practices
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Must be self-sufficient / sustaining
