Job Description Reference Number: eRFO-ISD-FY22-0175 Qty of Staff Needed: 1 Position Title: Senior Systems Administrator/ Systems Engineer Contract duration: 9 months Rate: $35/hr on w2 all inclusive or $45/hr on c2c all inclusive Location: San Jose, CA (Remote Allowed) Number of Slots: 2 Deadline to submit: 1/7/2022 The County is seeking a contract resource to augment the County TSS Enterprise Engineering and Infrastructure Group, Endpoint Management Team who is well versed with a strong background with architecting, configuring, and administering Intune/MEM/SCCM and Autopilot in medium to large organizations who will help guide the team through best practices in operationalizing and migrating to Microsoft Intune\MEM. Tasks : The resource will work with other Endpoint Management team members focusing on solutioning strategies for migrating endpoint management services currently being managed using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) into Microsoft Intune. Work will involve evaluating the County's existing SCCM environment co-managed with Intune focusing on software deployment, device imaging, collections and reporting and solutioning strategies for migrating those services into Intune. This resource will also be responsible for preparing technical documentation of completed work as well as knowledge transfer to the Endpoint Management team. In addition to working collaboratively with other members of the Endpoint Management team, this resource will be responsible for creating technical documentation of implementations and break-fix solutions. Contract Term: 6 months with possibility of extension Requesting Department: TSS Schedule: Full-Time - REMOTE ALLOWED Training and Experience: Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities. Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related discipline or equivalent work experience preferred. Skills & Abilities: 7-10 years of experience managing Microsoft Intune, SCCM co-management, Autopilot, Cloud Management Gateway, and cloud based endpoint management workloads. Experience: ---Experience managing, configurating, integrating, and migrating with Intune/MEM in SCCM co-management environments. ---Managing and supporting Windows 10 and Windows 11 with Intune. ---Windows Autopilot deployment experience using Intune ---Software deployment using Intune and SCCM. ---Site health monitoring and troubleshooting leveraging SSRS, log files, and the MEM/SCCM console. ---Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server 2012-2019 desired ---Intune Application Protection and Conditional Access Policy administration. ---Strong PowerShell scripting knowledge ---Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills On-Site Requirements : On-call help may be required.
