jobs that payliving wages. is committed to helping our neighbors
achieve economicempowerment through the education and employment
development services of our new CareerConnections program. CityTeam
currently provides food to mobile pantries throughout the area,and
we additionally provide career resources and services to help those
in need. The CareerConnections Program Coordinator will be
responsible for case management and support thereplication and
scaling of our Career Connections services.The Program Coordinator
will motivate and help program participants as they work through
theirEducation and Career Development Plans. Our ideal candidate
will take initiative, have aneducator mindset, solve problems, and
handle surprises with flexibility, grace, andresourcefulness. All

Coordinator is a full-time non-exempt position.ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS1. Implement the Career Connections workshops,
assessments, and work with students tocreate Education and Career
Development Plans based on the assessments. Assist studentswith
educational programs, vocational training, and employment
opportunities.2. Ensure the regular collection of program data and
compilation of reports to support theProgram Manager in measuring
impact and evaluating progress according to keyperformance
indicators. Work with the Program Manager, and CityTeamin the
Neighborhood and other stakeholders to evaluate data and implement
next steps.3. Collaborate with Program Manager in the creation of
student records, tracking of programmetrics, updating student
pipelines, managing assigned projects, and running standard andad
hoc reports.4. Collaborate with to learn about resources and
program alignment withindustry best practices.5. Proactively and
consistently improve the quality and effectiveness of program
services, byupdating materials, and promoting new resources.6.
Provide and coordinate activities for students to develop
employability skills and promotethe use of technology for career
planning and research.7. Ensure all participants understand the
wide variety of vocational skills training andresources available
through Career Connections.8. Ensure the availability of resources
to transport and accompany students to career fairs,union
apprenticeship application sessions, job interviews, and other
academic and oremployment related activities.9. Implement the
process of preparing students to take the high school equivalency
exam andassist students with college readiness, applications,
financial aid, etc.10. Maintain an environment that is conducive to
building trust and unity as well as highmotivation and
achievement.11. Represent CityTeam at community meetings and
support the Program Manager innetworking with outside social
services agencies, churches, companies, and nonprofits tobuild
mutually beneficial relationships and maximize available
resources.12. Collaborate with and facilitate employer, business,
educational, and communitypartnerships that provide career
development services and opportunities for students.13. Manage
multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and intelligently coach
participants.14. Advocate on behalf of CityTeam in your circles of
influence.15. Special projects and additional tasks as assigned by
the Program Manager of CareerConnections and Director of PLEASE

and ExperienceCareer Development, Career Coaching, or Career
Counseling experienceAssociate Degree or equivalent experience in
related fieldMinimum 3-years of professional work
experienceProficiency conducting online research, preparing
presentations, and speaking to large or small groupsComputer
literate and proficient with all aspects of Google G-Suite apps and
Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with curriculum implementations
and the ability to maximize resources by individualizing content
for each student's needsOutstanding command of the English
languageRead, write, and speak fluent SpanishValid CA Driver's
License with a clean recordPreferred Education and
ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experienceFamiliarity
with college admission processes, applications, and financial
aidFamiliarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Experience
implementing programs, processes, and structures for a new
organization functionTeaching experienceFamiliarity with CityTeam,
homelessness, and povertyPhysical DemandsStand or sit for prolonged
amounts of timeClimb up and down stairsWalk, bend, twist, &
kneelTalk and hearOccasionally lift and move up to 20 poundsFinger
and hand dexterity to feel, handle, and operate objects, tools or

require flexible working hours throughout the week, with periodic
time during evenings and weekendsThis job operates primarily in
assigned local communities in the South Bay with limited time in
the officeThis job operates in different outdoor settings in
various low-income neighborhoods, where conditions are subject to
varying weather conditions (hot, cold, windy, wet) This role
regularly uses standard office equipment such as computers,
printers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinetsAdditional
Eligibility Qualifications for CityTeamMust have an intimate,
personal relationship with Jesus ChristMust be active in a local
Christian body of believers or at least pursuing community with
other Christ-followersMust have compatible theology on major issues
