the work that you do.Job OverviewAARS Substance Use Clinician
position supports people in our community who are most impacted by
mental health limitations and poverty. Many of whom are affected by
substance use and trauma. AARS Substance Use Clinicians are one of
the first line of support when community members get release from
the jail system, outpatient or residential programs. Our team
supports our community by providing compassionate, integrated care,
at a personal and caring level.The most important characteristic of
our team is that we love to support clients at our agency.

Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum Requirements:--- MHRS with
CCAPP certification and/or MHRS pending, CCAPP registration w/in 6
months of hiring.--- First Aid Certified within 30 days of
employment.--- CPR Certified within 30 days of employment.--- Valid
California driver's license.Not required but, extra awesome:---
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field with
current registration with Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS).---
Licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences.--- Knowledge of
/Experience with MediCAL documentation standards. MHRS definition
(Referenced from Documentation Manual 2020): Mental Health
Rehabilitation Specialist. A credential issued by the County for
paraprofessionals who have a Bachelor's degree plus four years of
experience in a mental health setting. A Master's in a mental
health field may substitute for two years of experience. A two year
college degree plus six years of experiences also meet the minimum
