(Hybrid or Onsite) Job Description SummaryA Senior Scientist in the
Next Generation Instrumentation R&D team is responsible for
developing a wide variety of application data and user stories for
a range of interactions. These scenarios include working with
hardware engineers to define and test new instrument features and
benefits, showcasing workflows to inform software UI, and
generating scientific collateral (brochures, technical notes,
presentations, and web content) to support and drive the successful
commercialization of the product portfolio. Key to achieving this
is the development of novel imaging flow cytometry applications and
scientific content. With a primary focus on data processing
approaches coupled with bench science, a senior scientist works
closely with different business functions to ensure alignment with
the overall commercialization strategy. Job Description Be part of

world. A Senior Scientist in the Next Generation Instrumentation
R&D team is responsible for developing a wide variety of

strategy. Job Responsibilities: Design, perform, analyze, and
troubleshoot imaging flow cytometry experiments Pioneer and develop
novel image analysis approaches and imaging features Write
protocols, study reports, and scientific posters/papers for
publication by evaluating scientific literature, analyzing
scientific data, and staying abreast of current and novel practices
Collaborate with internal partners and external KOLs/collaborators
for data/evidence generation to support value messages of products
Oral presentations to internal and external audiences Support
marketing for product development and launch requirements Follows
the current best practices in image analysis and image processing,
as well as contributing to the development of future best
practices. Support complex flow cytometry systems. This may require
the development of new methods and procedures that improve
instrument performance/reliability Identifies significant
scientific trends or new issues of strategic importance and
communicates them to in-house resources as appropriate Always
maintains a professional image through behavior, oral and written
communications Stays abreast of the requirements for training
compliance and complies with those requirements Promotes a safe
work environment. Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety
programs. Addresses corrective actions whenever a hazard is
identified. Performs other related duties and assignments as
required. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience:
Requiresa Ph.D.in biomedical engineering (or a related life science
discipline) with minimumof 2 years'relevant experience. A Master's
degree in life sciences with relevant bench experience will also be
considered. Minimum of 2 years' experience designing, performing,
and analyzing cellular analysis experiments of some nature
Experience in image processing or deep analysis is required. Some
flow cytometry experience is desired. Software capabilities:
FACSDiva/FLowjo (desired), Microsoft Office Suite. Programming
experience such as any one of the following: Python, R, MATLAB or
Jupyter notebook is required. Effective interpersonal skills for
working in a cross-functional team-oriented environment to achieve
business goals. Effective written and oral communication skills.
Proven record demonstrating ability to follow established policies
and procedures including good documentation practice. Effective
investigative and problem-solving skills is essential. For certain
