Job DescriptionGardner Health Services is currently recruiting
to fill a Program Supervisor position. This is a full-time position
in the Adult/Older Adult Division of the Behavioral Health
Department based out of the Gardner Health Services Corporate
Office located at 160 E Virginia Street, San Jose, CA 95112. Under
supervision, the Program Supervisor oversees clinical staff and the
programmatic development of Gardner Health Service's CalWORKS and
Ethnic Wellness programs. The CalWORKS program provides intensive
services to families receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy
Families (TANF) support in order to stabilize families by
addressing domestic violence, mental health, substance abuse and
related issues. The Program supports their readiness for employment
and helps families move toward self sustainability. The Ethnic
Wellness program provides culturally competent mental health
services for Asian Pacific adults and older adults. Additionally,
the program provides evidence based practices designed to fit the
cultural needs and to improve life function, restore relationships
and increase engagement in the community. The Program Supervisor is
responsible for providing assessments, crisis intervention, and the
overall clinical supervision of the counseling staff. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and mental
health services as well as ability to supervise and lead clinical

now!Minimum Qualifications:The minimum qualifications of this
position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education
and experience may be considered.
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling,
or Social Work).
- State of CA LCSW or LMFT License preferred; must obtain a
license within two years of hire/promotion with a signed
contingency agreement.
- Valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance.
- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience working with
dually diagnosis clients.
- Ability to supervise and provide consultation with difficult
clients.
- Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.*If selected, other documents
and certifications may be required as part of the hiring and
credentialing process*Compensation:Compensation and level of
position placement will be determined based on relevant experience
