As a Cashier/Receptionist , you will foster and strengthen relationships with existing guests by providing a high level of customer service and work closely with team members in the Service, Parts and Sales Departments ensuring continuity in daily operations. Responsibilities Answer guest calls and establish follow-up with service appointments Service appointment scheduling utilizing X-Time software Follow-up with appointment no-shows Contacting guests who are overdue for service Scheduling guests for Smog, VIN Verifications and Weight Certificates Cashiering Service and Parts guests including taking credit cards and cash payments Balancing transactions at the end of each day including the cash drawer Closing completed work orders Coordinate rental/loaner vehicles with guests using General Motors software Assisting with Extended Warranty submissions Scanning and filing documents Keeping a working inventory of office supplies for Service, Parts, Sales and Finance Departments Participate in team and process development sessions --- keeping positive relationships with teammates, service teams and dealership management Qualifications At least one previous role based in customer service experience Excellent teammate with a collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve Prompt and courteous demeanor Positive and hardworking personality Strong computer skills Valid driver---s license and clean driving record We set you up for success: We have an in-house training team and career paths for all positions with opportunities for growth and advancement.
