We are currently seeking an Aero-Thermal Engineer. This
position requires an experienced professional to join our
Aerodynamics team to contribute to the aerodynamic performance
development of our vehicles while focusing on aero-thermal systems.
Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his
or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be
expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to
possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection
within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage cooling air flows to provide world-class thermal
efficiency and comfort
- Design, optimize, test, validate and implement ducting for heat
exchangers, HVAC and more
- Assist in sizing and layout of heat exchangers and fans
- Contribute to the development of robust yet efficient processes
to perform accurate vehicle and system aero-thermal
simulations
- Work interactively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary
cooperative environment, directly interfacing with the design
studio and other engineers
You Bring
- Solid understanding of aerodynamic and thermodynamic
fundamentals
- An ability to create CAD models to an excellent standard
- Sound experience with various CFD and thermal software
- A practical hands-on experience with prototyping
- Experience with wind tunnel and track testing
- A team player attitude
- Outstanding communication and reporting skills
Education
- BS (minimum) in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or
Aerodynamics Engineering
