Job Description:

Audio-Visual TechOnsite Maintenance Technician will work in partnership with the Customer, management team, Global Helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Working knowledge of MS Teams, Webex, ZoomSupport by phone or in person for meeting assistance or conference productionDirect end user support on the operation and use of collaboration toolsMeeting or conference setup activitiesRegular AV and videoconferencing room checks, certifications and preventative maintenance in accordance within established standardsProvide direct assistance and training to end users in the operation of AV systemsPerform routine preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/VTC systemsPerform advanced routine maintenance support on all AV systems including but not limited to basic troubleshooting and system fault isolation, projector lamp changes, filter cleaning, etc.Provide Show Tech Support of planned events, both onsite and off, as neededWork flexible schedule as requiredPerform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintaining active status board on system readiness, etc.Perform service level troubleshooting and maintenance support on AV & VTC systemsSetup and monitor video calls as needed.Ensure vendor compliance with all Customer safety and procedural guidelines at all timesTrack all maintenance activity start to finish with proper documentationMaintain sufficient spares on hand to affect rapid problem resolution for routine service issuesCoordinate RMA processing and parts procurement as neededCoordinate outside rental & staging services for special events as neededMaintain accurate inventory on all AV/VTC systems including spare partsPerform administrative tasks such as completing service tickets, maintaining active status board on system readiness, etc Skills and Abilities Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleaguesAbility to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to solder & crimp connectorsAbility to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlinesBasic computer knowledgeKnowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control Education and/or Experience Minimum of 1 3 years of audiovisual integration experience preferredFormal education in Electronics or related field preferredMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferredPreferred (Not required) external training:AMX Intro to Networking for AV ProfessionalsCrestron Professional InstallationExton AV Associate CertificationInfoComm Quick Start to the Audio-Visual IndustryInfoComm CTS General Certification Associated topics: audio, av vtc, control operator, examiner, radio, systems engineer, tech, technical, teleprompter, voip
