Role

Do you wake up each morning with growth and customer success on your mind? Are you interested in learning the entire customer lifecycle and decoding how customers get value from the Splunk portfolio of products? If you are passionate about working closely with customer success, product, product marketing, and sales teams to accelerate time to value and maximize customer retention - this role is for you. We are committed to our work, customers, and partners, and to having fun. We're seeking an equally passionate, skilled and lively marketer to drive our customer growth initiatives to the next level.

You will be part of a team of marketing and product professionals responsible for uncovering the optimal path to value for our new customers across platform, IT, Security and DevOps buying centers. You will lead efforts to uncover the right tactics that guide customers to expand use cases, upgrade to Cloud and derive maximum value from Splunk. Tactics will include smart technical content for effective onboarding, adoption programs and close partnership with the product team on in-product suggestions.

You will be based out of Splunk's headquarters in San Francisco or San Jose, California. This is a rare opportunity for you to join a fast-growing, dynamic, and industry-leading enterprise technology company. Experience in product marketing and customer success with a can-do attitude is critical.

Responsibilities:

* Partner with product and Customer Success teams to map the optimal journey for onboarding IT, Security and DevOps users across all levels * Understand what a successful customer outcome, be the owner/designer of the path to get there and determine methods of scale. * Own the strategy, design and correct KPIs to track for assessing customer onboarding, adoption levels and needed interventions * Uncover gaps where additional tactics are needed to ensure the most valuable features and use-cases are being leveraged at the right time * Generate growth hacks that improve adoption, expansion, and renewal * Amazing written and oral communication skills including the ability to craft technical content that new customers will engage with

Requirements:

* 5 years of experience in enterprise software; including 3+ years of customer-facing and product marketing experience * Experience creating and executing enterprise software customer retention and loyalty programs * Strong aptitude for technical software products, specifically in IT, Security and Observability markets * Amazing content creation and oral communication skills including ability to craft technical value-adding content that new customers will engage with * Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, high growth, sometimes ambiguous, and career defining environment * Collaboration skills and demonstrated success delivering results * BA or BS required. Past experience in a customer success, product marketing or product management role is a huge plus.
