Job Description:

The Director of Sales professionals will sell AI, Analytics and software technology solutions to Cameras, video surveillance access control and physical Security markets. The Director of Sales manages the sale of the organization's products or services through the OEM partners and system-integrators and distribution sales channel (sales to distributors/dealers/agents or sales to retailers) on a national or geographic basis. Manages other sales managers to sell AI, Analytics and software technology solutions to cameras, video surveillance, access control and physical security markets.Primary Responsibilities:Contact, follow up and sell our AI / Video Analytics technologies to OEM partners and security brand vendorsParticipates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectivesRegularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organizationWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the companyParticipates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through department managers within the companyAttend Industry Association events and Customer trade shows as directedMaintains records and makes reports on all phases of activities and performs other tasks as requiredUnderstand, support and execute all work according to the established procedures of the organizationAchieve and consistently exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals for self and teamRequired to have a strong comfort-level communicating throughout all levels of the organizationImplements and maintains department policies and standardsAchieve and constantly exceed KPI's for self and team (e.g. new customers, attachment sales, product launches, etc)Ensures that all customer activities for self and team are entered into the company's CRM system in a timely and accurate mannerOther Duties as assignedQualifications:10+ years of successful sales and business development experience selling software or AI or technology productsBachelor's degree in a business or technical disciplineRequires 5 years managerial experience or equivalent years relevant experienceExperience managing and closing complex technology sales cyclesExperience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) and sales tools (LinkedIn, Zoominfo)Prior experience in AI, cameras, videos, security products, software sales and experience with Asia hardware/ODM vendors, will be a plusWork from home office with extensive (80%) travelKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to provide proposals and presentations to all levels of customer contacts up to executive levelAvid learner of who always seeks to learn new technology and apply to business situationsProven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, goals and objectives for selfExcellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skillsAbility to effectively & professionally communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors
