The Marketing Research & Operations Analyst is a key member of the Marketing team and carries a dual role to provide market research & marketing operations to support our B2B marketing efforts. This position provides key insights and analysis to support our advertising sales teams. The Marketing Research & Operations Analyst will be responsible for using market research data to create and update sales collateral. The position will utilize our third-party research services, Google Analytics, and internal database systems and work with other cross-functional teams as necessary to produce compelling sales materials to help drive sales initiatives.

As part of this role, the Marketing Research & Operations Analyst will be responsible for B2B operations across multiple marketing disciplines in support of digital and print advertising offerings: driving leads to support sales. The position will work with the internal teams to deploy email campaigns, manage content marketing and social media marketing to engage new prospects and encourage retention. The Marketing Research & Operations Analyst will also work to implement new initiatives, define processes and guidelines to maximize the ROI of marketing campaigns.


  • Analyze data to support strategy/tactical options for addressing/achieving company business objectives

  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis by synthesizing data from multiple sources to identify trends in overall performance in a multi-channel environment

  • Assist with planning and executing B2B marketing campaigns (digital and print) for BANG and its portfolio

  • Act as a marketing liaison for the advertising sales division and manage their collateral needs

  • Collaborate with team members to execute lead nurture campaigns

  • Manage the company website

  • Manage third party software/campaign vendor relationships


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education & work experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience in a data-related role and/or product marketing role (business analytics, market research, product manager, and similar fields) required. Prior media experience preferred.

  • High levels of curiosity - you regularly look for information on your own and improve your contributions to the team preferred.

  • Working knowledge of all digital channels preferred.

  • Understand quantitative research and statistical analysis with experience using data to support a point of view for presentations.

  • The skills to communicate complex analysis to any audience in verbal, visual, and written formats.

  • Experience driving marketing campaign projects from beginning to end: creation, operation, reporting.

  • Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Communicate openly and frequently regarding project status and timeline(s).

  • Creative firepower - proven ability to generate ideas

  • Knowledge of MS Suite, Google Suite, Mailchimp, Listrak or other email systems

  • Knowledge of using third party research such as Scarborough, Claritas, PRIZM segmentation, Google Analytics or other data

  • Social media management and database management experience a plus

  • Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills

Work Environment

  • This position may be permanent remote. This job operates in a professional office environment and at the Company and client sites for business meetings and presentations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
