About Gartner Corporate Marketing:

Our Corporate Marketing team designs marketing programs to help prospective customers understand how Gartner's insights, advice, and tools can help them achieve the mission critical priorities that drive organizational performance. The team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting prospects through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences across the buyer journey.

Corporate Marketing's Content Marketing & SEO team is in search of an experienced editorial leader to oversee content curation and publishing on our digital channels including the public web site, podcast, YouTube, and social media. This person will be responsible for driving and orchestrating multiple streams of content from various contributors to ensure a compelling and consistent editorial experience and brand voice.

What You Will Do:

Lead the editorial calendar and content publishing for public site and multimedia channels to promote compelling content that meets user and brand goals. Among your responsibilities:

  • Oversee publishing operation for by coordinating multiple contributors, and serve as the final editor to maintain Gartner standards of quality and style

  • Drive continuous improvement of content formats, editorial standards and publishing operations to meet audience expectations and Gartner marketing priorities

  • Curate content for key pages and collections on the site plus our podcast, YouTube channel and live programming platforms to drive prospect engagement, organic traffic and nudge prospects along their journey

  • Serve as liaison with marketing, creative and IT stakeholders and partners and collaborate on user experience and site evolution

  • Understand our prospects' and clients' mindset and key issues and brainstorm content based on current events, new research, campaigns and conferences to promote in content collections and multimedia programs

  • Analyze content performance and analytics and drive curation and content creation based on a data-first approach

  • Manage and evolve workflow process and tools to optimize productivity and leverage best in class solutions to establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content

  • Create tone and style guidelines to maintain a distinctive voice that adheres to brand standards and helps bring the brand to life across media and channels

  • Instill an SEO-first mindset and discipline in all content creation and editing to ensure maximum discoverability for digital content

  • Partner with creative center of excellence to create engaging content assets (imagery, infographics, data visualization, video, etc) for use in publishing

  • Drive and optimize social promotions for published content

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree, Communications, Film or Journalism Major preferred

  • 12+ years creating content for media, television, podcast or brand and leading digital editorial team and/or site

  • Superb editing skills

  • Experience developing a variety of content assets including video, podcasts, articles, etc.

  • Passion for technology and business

  • Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills and ability to sell ideas and promote strategy with various stakeholders

  • Experience with Content Marketing Systems and CMS preferred, particularly Newscred, Wordpress, Adobe Experience Manager

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices across content formats
