What You'll Do
You will lead our dynamic Americas External Response and
Compliance Employee Relations team. Your team is responsible for a
wide array of worker-related areas that span federal and state
agency charges; agency reporting and audits; demand letters,
litigation and arbitrations; and internal policies. Your team
investigates and supports these matters in close partnership with
Cisco's litigation, employee relations, HR and contingent worker
teams. In addition, you will be a key architect on designing,
implementing and supporting various worker-related policies and
potentially will act as a company representative at depositions,
arbitrations, mediations, and in other forums as appropriate. You
also will provide expertise to ER cases and case escalations, which
includes providing coaching and counseling to management and
employees on a variety of complex human resources matters, as well
as providing leadership on all aspects of the employment cycle,
program requirements, and HR and enterprise-wide initiatives. Most
importantly, you will act as a cultural steward for Cisco, and you
know how to balance risk and are passionate about and have a strong
sense of ownership for the employee experience. You will work
closely with global ER and HR peers, HR Legal, and other
cross-functional team members and partners, communicating with all
levels of the enterprise.

#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our
talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an
inclusive future for all.
We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in
their digital businesses. Some may think we're "old" (36 years
strong) and only about hardware, but we're also a software company.
And a security company. We even invented an intuitive network that
adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what
we do - you can't put us in a box!
But "Digital Transformation" is an empty buzz phrase without a
culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even
failure (if you learn from it.)
Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best,
give our egos a break, and give of ourselves (because giving back
is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, bold steps, and
take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and
a dedication to equality for all, there is no moving forward.
