We are looking for a motivated Hardware Engineer to contribute to the development of our next generation products. Who You'll Work With You will be part of a dedicated team; open communications, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and customer success are the foundations of the team. You will be primarily working with teams that does hardware and software development, QA testing, manufacturing NPI as well as our contract manufacturer. Primary areas of responsibilities:Lead FPGA design verification on large scale data path hardware acceleration FPGA. Education and Experience Required:Bachelors or Masters degree in equivalent experience.8+ years of ASIC/FPGA Verification experience. Knowledge and Skills:You are proficient in ASIC/FPGA verification using UVM/System Verilog.Experience with EDA tools: VCS, Spyglass, nLint.You are proficient in verifying complex blocks, clusters and top levelYou can build testbenches from scratch, hands on experience with System Verilog constraints, structures and classes.You are familiar with Perl and/or Python scriptingYou have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and possess the drive to learn and growStrong domain experience on one or more protocols - PCIe, Ethernet, DMA, DDR.Structured approach to design and problem-solving Desired skills:Experience with x86 and MIPS based board design.Experience in designing PCIe, SAS, SATA, DDR3, DDR4, XAUI, and KR based high speed interface bus.Experience in Ethernet interface design, 1G/10G/40G/100G, optic or copper.Hands on board design knowledge, familiar with design tools including Cadence Concept, and Allegro.Hands on test equipment set up (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer and Ethernet traffic generators).Familiar with high speed design signal integrity issues, power distribution techniques and modern processors.Experience with high-speed networking a must.Excellent verbal and written communications skills. #WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.
