We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our hotel. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our Hotel, employees have their temperatures checked. We are relying heavily on CDC and local health department information in establishing safe working conditions and will continue to make our best efforts to keep the workplace safe. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day.Loss Prevention AgentThe Loss Prevention Agent will perform services ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and employees while meeting, or exceeding expectations. Ensures the highest quality of guest service to all guests. Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.You will also be responsible for the following but not limited to:Assess each call situation to determine best course of action.Ensure compliance with emergency, security, safety and loss prevention policies and proceduresPractice positive guest relationsHandle confrontations with guests in a professional manner without the use of physical force.Responsible for touring the hotel to prevent and discover activity in violation of criminal, fire or safety codes, and report dangerous conditions. Respond to emergency calls and complaints, taking necessary action; handle on-scene emergency situations until relieved by a higher authority; responsible for taking proper action at the scene of incident, for notifying the police/Fire department and preparing necessary reports.Check guest identification to ensure patrons in the bar area are over 21 years of age.Ensure folios are delivered to rooms as needed.Walk floors at 3:30am every morning to collect door hanger menus and provide to overnight cook.Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.REQUIREMENTS:Minimum three years' experience as a Front Operations/Guest Relations Supervisor preferably in a luxury hotel.Ability to assess emergency situations, make clear judgment calls based on policy, take prompt action when neededAbility to effectively manage conflict.Ability to provide legible communication and demonstrate strong verbal communication skills Ability to be a clear thinker analyzes and resolves problems exercising good judgmentAbility to focus attention to details Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding guestsAbility to perform job functions to standards under pressureAbility to ensure confidentiality of guestsAbility to work without direct supervision.
