QC Raw Materials Specialist, San Jose, CAPosition Type: 6-months with potential for extensionPay Rate: $30-40/hour depending on experience--Job Summary: The QC Raw Materials Specialist is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and undertaking activities pertaining to the Raw Material Program with Quality Control.Responsibilities:

• Performing QC inspection of incoming raw materials and documentation, sampling raw materials and submission to internal labs, coordinating the shipment of samples to contract labs
• Performs visual inspection and physical measurements.
• Ensures inspection and release timelines are met.
• Reviews QC test results.
• Reviews, documents, and maintains records in a detailed and consistent manner.
• Assists with QA document management, including organizing and scan other reports as needed.Requirements:
  • BA/BS with 3+ years of experience in the biotech/biopharmaceutical setting
  • Strong understanding and experience operating within a GMP environment
  • Experience with cell-based assays flow cytometry, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, cell culture, etc.
  • Experience with method qualification/validation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to keep track of multiple ongoing projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and must be adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
