Our client is a rapidly growing biotech startup that's dedicated to improving public health and safety on a global scale, and is leveraging automation to make the food safety testing process more efficient. They are looking to build out their sales team and bring on their first Account Executive to help them hunt new accounts within the food supply chain (manufacturing, processing, farming, etc). Their ideal candidate has some relevant industry experience, has managed a full sales cycle, and has at least a year of closing experience under their belt. This a full time position with competitive salary and health, vision, dental and life insurance benefits, as well as other great perks that are fully covered by our client.?Job Responsibilities* Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal* Passionate about company vision, and relaying that passion to developing long-lasting business relationships with prospective clients* Creating and executing sales strategies to reach predetermined goals and quotas* Acquire prospects through various channels including cold calling, industry network, trade shows etc.* Grow existing accounts by identifying new business opportunities and service needs* Creating tailored solutions for common account problems* Maintain client satisfaction by being responsive and facilitating interactions with technical and client supportJob Requirements* Knowledge/Interest/Desire to learn of relevant technical topics such as life sciences, chemistry, food safety and biotechnology* Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to understand client needs and engineer a solution that works* Self-driven and motivated with understanding of the urgency and importance of the food industry* Relevant experience of 3-5 years preferred but not required* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
