Oregon.Job MissionThe mission of Electrical PLC (Programmable Logic
Controller) Control Engineer is defining, realizing and maintaining
a machine wide electrical PLC control infrastructure for new and
existing ASML products. Also as an Electrical PLC Control Engineer
you will design, realize, and to a limited extent manage the
infrastructure cabling of the ASML products.This position may
require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export
Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. -- 730, et seq.). Qualified
candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled
technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require
the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible
to access controlled technology.Job DescriptionThe Electrical PLC
Control Engineer is responsible for the following:Operate in a
multidisciplinary team and interface with multiple projects to
realize own work.Define, document and maintain specifications of
electrical control infrastructure using SIEMENS PLC (incl. safety
PLC) Hardware and SoftwareDesign and document various electrical
layout infrastructure parts that meet the international standards
on electrical safety and EMC.Participate in realization of the
infrastructure like cable harness, connection panels, electronic
racks.Manage the electrical interfaces between the modules in the
product.Perform trade-off studies to determine the preferred
implementation scenario for new or changed functions.Implement
engineering changes into the products.Investigate and solve issues
on the infrastructure connectivity and electrical control
design.Implement infrastructure and control products in
electromechanical designs.Represent project team in several
meetings. Get agreement with stakeholders and make work breakdown
for the various electronics products, adjusted with other
stakeholders.Make a personal work breakdown planning, align with
team and interfacing projects.Contribute to the analysis and
solution of reliability issues.EducationBachelor---s degree in
Electrical Engineering or similar with 3 years of relevant work
experience. Higher education preferred --- Master. ExperienceHas a
minimum 3 years of relevant, work related experience with
industrial networks (Profibus, Profinet, ethernet, etc) and SIEMENS
PLC (including Remote I/O PLC and safety PLC) hardware is the
minimum qualification. Knowledge and experience on SIEMENS PLC
software (including safety PLC software) and GUI software is a
plus.Strong English communication skills --- both oral and written
(eg, design and test specification documentation).Strong
presentation skill and ability to explain to non-electrical
background stakeholders clearly Prefer to multiple years of
experience as designer of electronic functions, including
electrical system and control design experience in a similar
function in a multidisciplinary organization. Knowledge of and
experience in safety systems and international standards (like
IEC62061, NFPA79, IEC/EN60204, etc.) is also preferable.Broad
technical knowledge on cabling setup, AC/DC power distribution, and
digital/analog electronics realization, cabling, safety control and
diagnosis is a plus. PC Board design experience.Personal skillsCan
observe and respond to people and situations and interact with
others encountered in the course of work. Can learn and apply new
information or skills. Must be able to read and interpret data,
information, and documents.Strong customer focus and commitment to
customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency
and professionalism.Ability to complete assignments with attention
to detail and high degree of accuracy. Proven ability to perform
effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads.
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.Identifies

wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for
entire duration of shift. The environment generally is moderate in
temperature with moderate to high noise level.Can work under

keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist,
reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the
campus.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.May require
