Canon's Industrial Products Division, headquartered in San Jose,
CA, includes sales, marketing, service and support of our state of
the art Semiconductor, Motion Control, Optomechatronic, and Super
Machine Vision Products. This exciting position provides
administrative support to the Industrial Products Division, where
every day is different, supporting a variety of departments,
interfacing with employees as well as customers and vendors. If you
enjoy a fast pace with a variety of tasks, this could be the job
- Provide administrative support both locally and regionally.
- Initiate correspondence, calendar appointments, maintain
- Manage and maintain customer / vendor files, records and
- Responsible for processing customer orders, i.e. order entry,
picking, processing shipments, invoicing, etc
- Responsible for ordering products and processing incoming
shipments of parts and merchandise
- Process travel requests, coordinate meeting arrangements
- Typically requires general education and/or vocational training
plus 1-2 years of related experience
- Detail oriented and organized with strong computer, customer
service and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize urgent requests.
- MS Office proficiency including Word, Basic Excel, Quickbooks
helpful, Powerpoint helpful
- Bilingual Japanese/English highly preferred.
