growing Fintech Company.Bill.com is looking for a tech-savvy and
highly motivated litigation lawyer with 3+ years of legal
experience to join our rapidly growing Legal and Compliance
department at its headquarters in San Jose. This legal counsel role
will be responsible for customer dispute resolutions, regulatory
complaints, legal order process and developing protocols and
policies for dispute and legal order management across the
enterprise. This lawyer will work closely with our customer
service, payment and risk operations teams and will join a
passionate and dedicated team of legal and compliance professionals
on a mission to support the company s growth. We d love to chat if
you have:3+ combined years of litigation experience in a law firm
and/or hands on dispute and legal order process management
experience in-house.Skilled in legal advocacy, writing and
negotiation. Experience in dispute analysis, risk assessment and
practical decision making as it relates to pre-litigation
disputes.Experience in responding to subpoenas, liens and
garnishments and other discovery requests.Knowledge of e-discovery
laws. Experience with contract law analysis.Legal research
skills.Ability to create practical processes and protocols (such as
playbooks and templates) to increase efficiencies and to guide
support teams in dispute and legal order management. Project
management experience as it relates to dispute
investigations.Ability to identify critical risks and escalate
those through the proper channels. Familiarity with, and strong
interest in, Bill.com, alternative payments, emerging payments
technology and the payments industry.Familiarity with complaint
processes through financial and consumer regulatory agencies is a
plus. Ability to collaborate with legal operations support
personnel on dispute and legal order tracking, metrics and
reports.Ability to budget for and manage outside counsel for
matters that require external legal expertise. Juris Doctorate from
an accredited law school (or foreign equivalent degree). Admitted
to, and in good standing with, a state bar.Strong problem solving
skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments
simultaneously, with effective resolution of conflicting
priorities.Sound and practical business judgment, intellectual
curiosity, comfortable and adept at balancing risk and
opportunity.Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented
approach with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships
with business partners, customers and management.Intellectual
curiosity, a desire and alignment with our core values: Humble,

areas and interpreting and applying the law in unsettled contexts
in a fast paced environment.Strong attention to detail and
