Job Description:
Astound, a leader in telecommunications, is seeking a Broadband
Technician Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of broadband services, including internet, phone,
and cable. Located at the forefront of technology, Astound provides
our clients with cutting-edge solutions. This role requires an
individual skilled in managing teams, resolving complex issues, and
improving service quality while ensuring the highest satisfaction
among our customers. The ideal candidate will act as both a
technical expert and leader, responsible for coordinating and
supporting on-site technicians, managing daily operations, ensuring
compliance with safety standards, and updating service procedures.
Lead and supervise a team of technicians in installing,
maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband services including fiber
optics and cable systems. Train and develop team members on the
latest technology and safety protocol. Coordinate daily tasks and
schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency. Ensure customer
satisfaction by providing timely and accurate resolution to issues
and maintaining high service standards. Manage inventory of tools
and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality. Enforce
adherence to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Prepare reports on team performance, project progress, and resource
utilization. Expert knowledge of broadband technologies, including
fiber optics, CATV, and Internet installation. Strong leadership
and team management skills. Exceptional troubleshooting and
analytical abilities. Proficient in using technology and software
to manage workflows and communications. Excellent communication and
