Job Description:
Year Up is seeking an Entry Level Application Developer to join
our team and contribute to building and maintaining educational
applications that enhance our comprehensive one-year program. At
Year Up, we focus on closing the opportunity divide for young
adults by offering skill-building experiences, academic support,
and real-world internships. As an Application Developer, you will
be pivotal in crafting digital solutions that support our mission,
leveraging technology to create impactful learning tools for our

education. Develop and maintain web and mobile applications
tailored to the needs of our educational programs. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Implement responsive design to ensure apps are usable on various
devices. Test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability,
and general reliability. Fix bugs and improve application
performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new
technologies to maximize development efficiency. Proficiency in
programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby on
Rails. Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript. Understanding of database management and basic
architecture designs. Experience with APIs to connect applications
to back-end services. Strong problem-solving skills and
adaptability. Prioritizing tasks and time management. Medical
