Position Description This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions, remote on the West Coast (PST). The Network Solutions Architect will work hand-in-hand with our clients while directly supporting the sales team. Your ability to clearly articulate network security solutions and services to our existing client base and prospects is essential. Your involvement in client opportunities will start with the initial client meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision and possess strong technical and design knowledge of network and security technology / controls. This position requires excellent communications skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Job Qualifications - What you need for success

• Desire to be in a sales-driven, 100% client-facing role
• Ability to deliver detailed statements of work (SOW) and proposals with a high-level project plan
• Ability to deliver accurate Bills of Materials
• Ability to communicate with the technical services delivery team to convey client end-goals
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage your own time, calendar and follow-ups
• Be consultative with a trusted advisor approach Experience and qualifications we are seeking
  • 5+ years of networking & security experience with knowledge of associated best practices and technology
  • 3+ years of pre-sales, client facing experience OR equivalent experience as a post-sales consulting engineer with desire to enter pre-sales profession
  • Experience with technologies like Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba, etc is required
  • Network & Security product certifications are a plus
  • Must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of network and security technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of network and security products; preferred solutions include the following: Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto
  • Network areas of focus include but are not limited to, NAC, LAN/WAN design / architecture, SD-WAN, segmentation and wireless
  • Security areas of focus include but are not limited to, perimeter security, endpoint protection, EDR, MFA, web and DNS security, email protection, etc Work Environment
    • Remote within PST time zone, preferably based in CA
