• Develop tools and systems to manage distributed builds
• Improve efficiency and scale of build and packaging
• Explore new build systems and tools
• Support and enhance existing Makefile infrastructure
• Triage and debug build issues and work with developers for resolution
• Develop tools and services that increase developer productivityEducation/Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in some of the following areas:
    • Experience in programming/scripting languages: Python, Shell Scripting
    • Managing Continuous Integration (CI) environment (e.g. Jenkins)
    • Good working knowledge of Linux build tools (GNU make)
    • Expertise in source control tools like git, bitbucket
    • Compute virtualization, Linux networking
    • Experience with Debian packaging (dh-*, dpkg-* and apt-* tools)
    • Daily builds, build automation
    • Manage software releases across multiple product lines
    • Manage build servers and applications
    • Experience building Docker container and Virtual Machines
    • Ability and desire to take ownership of work assignments and drive tasks to completion
    • Ability to conduct research as required to aid in the adoption of new technologies
    • Good to have experience in following areas:
      • Cloud knowledge: Horizontal vs vertical scaling, LaaS, PaaS, Build as a Service
      • Define, collect metrics to improve Devops operations
      • Experience with monitoring and data visualization tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Kibana is a plusBenefits
