About Zadar Labs:Zadar Labs, the leader in imaging radar platforms and perception solutions for intelligent systems, is looking for a highly motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our team and help us move the boundaries of possibilities in perception solutions. -About the Role:As an Embedded Software Engineer in a highly agile and productive team, you will contribute to development as well as maintaining Zadar's Software modules, mainly in the embedded domain. You will design, implement, test, validate and verify modules across our tech stack. You will frequently cross boundaries to solve critical issues which are not necessarily within your domain. You are self-motivated and jump on finding and solving tough challenges as they arise. You will be working alongside a world-class, humble and no-BS team with extensive knowledge in the fields of radar technology, robotics, automotive and safety critical engineering. -What You'll be Doing:

• Write high performance and high integrity software running on various RTOS and embedded environments
• Develop Firmware, Middleware and Application layer software in C and C++
• Improve and deliver reliable software through automated testing, continuous integration, issue tracking, documentation and code reviews
• Develop, maintain and own embedded software modules across different stacks
• Deliver complex projects through incremental development
• Design and implement diagnostic software and tooling to improve system reliability across a wide variety of interfaces, components and environments
• Develop and optimize device drivers and system software for fault tolerant operation
• Support customer experience by improving customer-facing tools -We'd like you to have:
  • Passion for what you do and an open, humble and no-BS attitude
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 - years of experience developing embedded software or similar areas
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with C and knowledgeable of RTOS concepts -Nice-to-have or willing to learn:
    • Experience with C++, Python, Bash Scripting
    • Experience with Testing Automation concepts and tools (e.g. Jenkins, gtest)
    • Familiarity with perception systems used in autonomous vehicles or robotics
    • Experience with hardware and software components of perception systems (Radar, LiDAR, and/or Camera)
