Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.As a Sr. algorithm engineer, you will develop and implement computer vision algorithms help SEM inspection and metrology tasks for various patterns/layers, improve system throughput and computation efficiency.This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.Role and responsibilitiesParticipate in algorithm development for Ebeam inspection. Investigate, prototype and optimize advanced algorithms for wafer inspection and metrology. Related modules include but are not limited to die-to-database alignment, die-to-database inspection, and die-to-die inspectionWork as anarchitects to collaborate with designers, and engineers to develop robust defectinspection modulesWork withProduct Management to prioritize feature development and breakdown tasksDriveinfrastructure and architectural optimization solutionsPerformcode reviews and ensure proper design and deliveryAssessment and improve algorithm performanceEducation and experiencePh.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or related filed; M.S. with 3 years of relevant experiences; B.S. with 5 years of relevant experiences.Minimum 5 years of research or hand-on development in image processing, computer vision and Machine learning.Minimum 5 years of in-depth experiences in C++ programmingGood communication and organizational skillsMust be experienced with large-scale software development and release processes. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
