has an exciting opportunity for motivated and talented software
developers. We are a collaborative team that enjoys learning from
each other as we create tools that help solve our customers debug
problems. Our passion is investigating interesting ACAP, SoC and
FPGA in-system debug problems and collectively work with our
support teams to develop one of the most widely used software debug
tools for Xilinx devices.In this senior software developer position
you will be working with other senior engineers and managers to
help investigate, develop, test and support new features that help
our customers develop and deliver their applications to the market.
You will also work on developing training materials and
troubleshoot customer-related issues as they come up. Everyday
there will be a new opportunity to learn something new about
advanced Xilinx products and what it takes to develop quality
production software working alongside with a team that will help
you succeed every step of the way.Job Responsibilities: Develop
device support software, processes, and test infrastructure for our
ChipScope suite of products Interacting with hardware devices in a
lab environment Transfer and scale-up of new processes from
Software R into Production Software applications Attend and
participate in project team meetings to develop and implement
project plans Collaborate with the project team members to
troubleshoot and solve software issues Document and present testing
results and training modules QualificationsRequired Qualification
Education: BS or MS or PhD in CS, EE or CE Experience: BS w/approx.
5 years, MS w/approx. 2 years, or PhD in relevant field w/0 or more
years Hands-on and demonstrable coding experience using programming
languages (Python, C++, C, Java, etc.) Proficient oral and written
communication skills Ability to work in global team in
diverse/multiple stakeholder environment Experience using and
contributing to GitHub repositories Comfortable with remote work
using both Linux and Windows environmentsDesired Qualification
Familiarity with EDA and on-chip test & measurement tools preferred
Experience using hardware devices and related software (such as
Xilinx FPGA/ACAP/SoC, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.) Experience with
Lean / Agile development methodologiesAMD is a US federal
