Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Onsite at Western Digital - San Jose, CA or Irvine, CA



Duration: 6 contract to hire:



The IT-CRM team at Western Digital is responsible for enabling their marketing, sales and support teams with cutting edge applications built on Salesforce platform. They are seeking an Entry Level Salesforce developer who will be responsible for working with the business analyst teams to convert the given business requirements into technical solutions and implement them on the Salesforce Platform. Job Description 1-2 years of experience as a Salesforce Platform Developer. Hands on experience with Lightning. Experience developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Aura Components (LCP) a plus. Good understanding of Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Support business processes in Salesforce.com. Experience working with Custom Objects, Custom Fields, Page Layouts, Workflows, Validation Rules, Custom Reports and Email notifications according to application requirements. Salesforce Certification is a Plus Overall Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD) Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Workflow, Process Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports Experience in Creating and/or troubleshooting Apex code and Visual force pages a plus. Experience writing test classes and test methods to ensure code coverage. Experience working with Salesforce.com Sandbox and Production Environments. Experience in querying salesforce database using SOQL & SOSL queries Good written and verbal communication skills You will be expected to: Develop new user interfaces using lightning components Build customer / partner portals on Salesforce Communities Collaborate with a diverse team of Analysts, Developers, and SMEs Communicate and present your work in a clear and simple manner Apply best practices and develop for re-use and scale
